How to Play Poker
Poker is not that tough and complicated, and many times we come down due to the marginally wrong decisions, but there are a lot of other happenings so these matters doesn't effect on the long-run.
Actually a lot of players make their game much complex unnecessarily because they do not know the exact strategies to play the poker games. The ultimate truth is that good and sound strategy helps in good decision-making.
Their must be only one strategy in the mind of a poker player and that should be: "I want to win". A sensible strategy can be complex, but a good strategy serves all individuals to make their decision easier. Strategy can be explain as a road map to your destination, if you know your destination, and also you know the exact route which you need to take, then there are a many decisions you will have to make before you sit in the car. Perhaps you still face road blocks and detours, but just compare a trip where you have a map before you get in the car towards your destination, to that trip where you just sit in the car and start driving.
In the second way you definitely waste your time by running in the wrong direction and also waste your time find out your destination place and also it could happend that even you will never get to that place where you want to reach. In the second way, All the tactical decisions you make -- should I turn to the right or left, should I take the main road or a subway street -- will be difficult, complexed, and often will be difficult to understand for yourself too.
Strategy can be developed with the concepts that: I want to win... How much amount of dollars I have to play poker so that I decide that I will play upto this limit... I'm not so sharp that I could read players for bluffs, so I need to portrate an image that help me less bluffing by other players.... I must have to go for exercise game and should select the right table of the game according to my style.... I need to focus on playing hands and their positions where I think that these can be profitable for me in the long run.... And on each step of the play in a game or in a hand, I will play only if I am quite sure that I can decide what to do in all the situations that could come up in the later stage of poker game...
This is all about strategy to play a poker game. The more you work to make a strategy in your mind, the more you decide best on the issues. Whenever next time you reached to a tough decision on the turn card, just ask yourself that the answer should be known to you.... they strategy should have made before playing... why you don't know of what to do! suddenely make a logical reason to give your decision and follow that logical reason till end.
Only strategy makes you a winner in a poker game. Only good tactics can allow you to win more and more. So always make strategy before start playing poker
